PF Murphy & Sons are seeking a skilled Water Mains Layer to join our utilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water mains infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced operatives looking to advance their career in the water utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lay, repair, and maintain water mains pipelines

  • Work on both new installations and maintenance projects

  • Follow all safety procedures and site regulations

  • Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently

  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Skills & Qualifications

  • NRSWA certification or willingness to complete training

  • CSCS card or equivalent construction site safety certification

  • Previous experience laying or repairing water mains

  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various conditions

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
