About the Role

Ballycommon are seeking a skilled Utilities Operative to join their team. You’ll be working on water, gas, and/or electric infrastructure projects, helping to maintain and improve critical utilities services. This role is perfect for hands-on individuals who enjoy a varied, outdoor working environment and are looking to grow their career in the utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tools and machinery safely on site

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility infrastructure

• Work with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards

• Follow all health & safety procedures and industry regulations

• Report progress and any issues to supervisors

Skills & Qualifications

• CSCS card or equivalent construction site safety certification

• NRSWA tickets preferred (employer may provide training if needed)

• Basic understanding of utilities operations

• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various conditions
